Our 2020 Rolling Thunder Imperial Stout was aged for 9 months in handmade Rolling Thunder Barrel Works barrels previously used to age our Dead Guy Whiskey. This one-of-a-kind imperial stout can be enjoyed right away or cellared for years. Either way it’s best shared among friends.

Pours dark chocolate with a fair golden buff head. Aroma gives rich roast malt, chocolate, bourbon tones. Flavor offers roast malt, chocolate, coffee and bourbon. Texture provides OK body & peppy fizz. Roll that thunder.

Pours very dark brown with a tan head and leaves a bit of lacing. Such a strong beer yet flaunts less alcohol than some 8 or 9% imperial stouts! Silky and soft going down with only a little alcohol in the finish. Vanilla and oak. Roasted malt and a bit of chocolate and maybe some coffee. Notes of whiskey also come through. Not sweet, not bitter, just right. A well crafted beer!
