Pours a mirky orange color, off-white head, spotty lace. The aroma has a big whiskey nose, oak, some of the base Tripel sweetness. Pretty big and boozy, and if you like whiskey with a bit of beer, then you'd like this aroma. The taste is less whiskey then the aroma, with Oak, candied sugar sweetness, whisky booze, and some fruit in there as well. Alcohol is there. Finish is sweet whiskey booze. The mouthfeel is medium, good carbonation, sweet creamy finish.

Nice effort at a Tripel, and this sample hit many of the traits associated with this demanding style. Dark yellow body, frothy head and low lacing. Strong banana and peppery spice with a noticed phenolic heat. Mouthfeel was light and a bit watery.
