Woody aroma has dusty and yeasty components, unusual but not off-putting. It pours a slightly hazy sepia with a fairly thick, if not persistent, light tan head. Flavor has a strong overtone of fresh-cut wood, plus caramel, cloves and horehound. Texture has good body and fizz, and leaves a woody, slightly spicy finish.
