Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Aromas feature plenty of resinous pine, grapefruit, citrus, and a strong bitterness, the caramel malt barely pokes through. The big hoppy aroma is the show here. Mouthfeel is rich and thick, sticky. Flavor is the opposite of the aroma with the bitter grapefruit showing up first but the big thick, very sweet caramel malts take over, with the citrus hops playing second fiddle, some alcohol in the finish.
