Monty’s 65 Golden Ale was created to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Guernsey’s Liberation. It’s our tribute to two great men; General Montgomery whose Rolls Royce Silver Wraith will be taking part in the celebrations & our own indomitable Monty Randall. Perfect to quench your thirst, the golden hue is complemented by an aroma filled with delicate fruity scents. Enjoy with a range of foods, such as lightly spiced curry or roast chicken.

Aug. 2014: Keg, halfpint, as Randall’s Monty’s, at The Last Post, Guernsey. Copper colour, low white head. Moderate aroma, some caramel and nuts. Distinctly nutty flavour, also caramel, but not very sweet. Moderate hops in the finish, some bitterness in the aftertaste. For a keg ale, this is not too bad.
