this beer was Guiness version 2 for me. it was a cheap, fake clone of it though in my opinion. I will never have this one again, but if you like dark beers, then maybe you will have a different opinion.

Not really a scotch at all, it looks right and smells malty enough but the taste is roast malt and a bitter hop finish. Not bad at all, very clean flavor and very beerlike, just not scotch ale like.

This one poured a nice dark red color with a cloudy apprearance and a weak head. It had a moderately dry flavor with a malt backbone and a subtle hop presence on the finish.
