Our interpretation of the English barley wine is a big, strong hug of a beer. The intense alcoholic warmth sneaks up on the drinker, who is simply enjoying this beverage's fruity nose, malty sweetness and mahogany hue. First brewed in 1996, Winter Warmer was originally called “Old Red Nosed” and was bottled in 650ml bottles.

A very decent strong ale from this up and coming brewery from Fredrickton. Very nice brown apperance and a bit of lacing. Nice flavour, not much bitterness for a strong beer, reminds me of a real English pub ale. Very nice
