Subtle as a brick to the face, this hefty beer is red in colour and full of intense malty flavours. Mildly carbonated, it should be served at warmer temperatures.

Poured a seriously dark yet clear amber colour beneath a creamy tan head. The aroma was indistinct, perhaps some "wheaty" notes at play here? Flavour was rather interesting, being reminiscent of an Abbey dubbel or tripel with less spices. Pleasing enough all the same, although the finish could be a little less sweet. Good mouth. Nice beer.
