Clear dark brown with a minimal skiff floating on top but it is long lasting. Strange the aroma is sharp and strong but consists of nothing…………maybe chocolate and some of the alcohol. Taste seems slightly watery and thin, some chocolate lots of dirt but no noticeable spice like I was hoping for. This just tastes like your everyday brown ale with some sour in the finish. Very drinkable but was a let from what I was hopping for.
