Brewed in Canada by Brunswick Bierworks Mimmi is everything leisure. Arriving at a beach, sliding a hotel window open, slipping into a hot tub. An intuitive and carefree union of vinous sour beer and orange juice. We love this beer, we love Mimmi.

The look and smell of the beer is that or orange juice as it’s a nice opaque orange colour with a very short-lived head, despite a heavy pour. Again, the aroma is all oranges with a hint of perfumey hops and yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a lot of carbonation. The flavour is very much orange juice as well with hints of grass and hops. There is a belly warming alcohol presence in the sense you feel it, but don’t taste it. It smells and tastes good, but not what I want in a beer.

Oh wow! This is good, but looks like pure orange juice, without the Sparkling for a Mimosa. Thick orange, bubbly head that disappears quickly leaving no lacing. Orange juice nose. Orange juice taste as well, but the sugar is felt in the end. Not too sour and lingers like an orange creamsicle. Alcohol warms up a little. Hints of vanilla to blend things. Quite an interesting 7% ABV juicy concoction.
