Bottled. Pitch black colour with no head. Aroma is sweetroasted malts along with vanilla and oak. Flavour is very wooden, vanillaish and slightly peaty and smoky. Alcohol is also showing itself. Strong whiskyish burn in the aftertaste.

Bottled. pours out in a black colour with a no head to mention. Big aroma of cask, wood, salt and tar with notes of iodine, licorice and black coffee. Huge tarry and smokey flavour of salt, licorice, ropes, smoked herring, iodine, burnt wood, cedar-wood, and black unsweetened coffee. Full and velvety smooth mouthfeel with a extremely low carbonation. Huge smokey and chewy finish of tar, smoked peppered ham, salt, seaweed, iodine, salty licorice, wood and alcohol. Just loving it!

Pours with a black body topped by a pencil thin light brown head with some lacing. The aroma is roasty and smokey (?) with a malty undertone. Not much else to it. The flavor is slightly sweet and smokey with a slight mali note. Meidum to full bodied, smooth and a hint warming.
