One can never go wrong with a good Scotch Ale, and this is no expection. Not outstanding, but has all the attributes one requires in a good Scotch Ale. A dark brown colour with a weak tan cap. Smoked wood, raisins, and molasses provide an inviting aroma, while the sweet flavours melded together nicely.

Medium brown body with a filling head and sticky lacing. Earthy, nutty aroma with plenty of fruit and wood accents. Medium bodied, a touch on the sweet side but fairly solid. Woody with a hint of whiskey coupled with mild dark fruits and a splash of peat.
