Bobby is light in color and full of flavor without being heavy. This is traditional Kolsch-style ale, a type of beer that originated in the Cologne region of Germany prior to the development of lager yeast in the 1800's. Similar in character to a Pilsner, but made with an ale yeast, Bobby's got a bit more mouth feel, character and hoppiness than most beers brewed in the Kolsch style.

A respectable Kolsch, but nothing remarkable, it is certainly above your average lawnmower beer, but nothing that I'd write home about. Good for a try, good in the heat, other than that, get a wheat.
