Wet Hopped Harvest Sour Ale Ah yes, that time of year when pumpkin spiced everything dominates the storefront and every brewery throws up a wet hopped beer, because who doesnt love the pungent and earth flavors of fresh whole cone hops. Obviously we had to hop on this bandwagon, but we decided to do things a bit differently. Once we got our wet hops in, we took a brew soured with lactobacillus, then generously hopped it with those dank bushels of deliciousness. It's a harvest beer, but kinda not. Malts: Pale Malt Flaked Wheat White Wheat Malt Hops: Amarillo Centennial Yeast Lactobacillus Plantarum Lactobacillus Brevis OG: 1.067G FG: 1.015G IBU: 4.2 SRM: 4.1 ABV: 7.2%

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

12 oz can. Pours clear light straw gold with a medium fizzy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is funky earthiness with some vinous bretty fruits.

The flavor is tart fruits, musty earthiness and some mild hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is pretty light bodied and watery.

Overall, an interesting take on a sour.
