Agreed with FlashPro, I amnew to this style, but I really enjoyed drinking it...it is very malty and sweet...and very strong. It is one of those unique styles of beer that makes going to Microbreweries SO MUCH FUN! The average rating, again, is because I just am not familar with other Wee Heavies or Scottish Strongs...

Poured a dark, chestnut brown color with a small, tan head that left no lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, smoke, peat, and sweet caramel. More sweet caramel in the taste, some chocolate, smoke, and a strong alcohol presence.

I only tried a little bit of this beer, but found it pleasantly malty. Quite sweet with a very dark color. This was the 2nd time I tried a "small sample" of this beer, and my review remained about the same. Nothing special.

This is a tough beer to review. It is a sweet, very dark and malty brew. It is really very good, but it really does not resemble a Wee-Heavy, it is more in the lines of a porter or a stout. I highly recommend this beer.
