Pours out in a deep ruby amber colour with a small creamy off-white head. Rich malty aroma of fudge, peat, figs, cookies and licorice with touches of almonds, pepper and herbs. Medium-bodied with notes of roasted almonds, toasted malts, milky chocolate and mild smoke. Long malty finish of nuts, cocoa, sweet licorice, herbs and brown sugar. Rather tasty as new but the residual sweetness should make it even tastier in a couple of years.
