Taking its name and recipe inspiration from a Lynne Orson work of historical nonfiction, Citizens of London is an English mild ale brewed with all American ingredients. Aroma features notes of toasted bread, baker's chocolate and a bit of raisin. It drinks smooth but with a fill.body for 4.3% ABV. Flavor is nutty up front, with slight malt sweetness, and a finish that is dry but not lingering. Definitely

Taps clear copper with a fair beige head. Aroma delivers clove, toasted malt and bready notes. Flavor presents toasted malt, bready, subtle clove and hop tones. Texture offers fairly firm body and peppy fizz. A toast to London.
