Spotted Cow Fans may not have believed it was possible to improve upon Wisconsin’s favorite brew. However, New Glarus Brewing Company Diploma Master Brewer Daniel Carey gave some thought and decided to change it up a bit. Faithful to Spotted Cow but an entirely new Imperial recipe with fine Wisconsin and Czech malts that step out with hand chosen Willamette and Yakima Valley hops joined up with French and German varieties. The addition of fresh coriander and sweet orange peel kick up Dan’s special Farmhouse Ale. New Glarus Brewing Company Founder/President Deb Carey noted that Spotted Cow Grand Cru is bottle fermented and hazy as an early meadow morning. You can expect Spotted Cow Grand Cru to be an assertively quaffable Imperial edition of Wisconsin’s favorite local brew

Pours clear topaz with a nice parchment head. Aroma has zesty stone and citrus fruit, fresh malt, yeast. Flavor produces stone and citrus fruit, sweetness, fresh malt. Texture delivers decent body, peppy fizz. Moo moo.
