Tasted on tap at the 2006 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. This American Strong Ale pours a medium amber color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and malty with a touch of hops. A medium bodied American Strong Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet, touch of caramel, lots of orange flavors. Hops are semi-bitter, piney and grapefruity. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Nice malt sweetness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
