The flavors of our Belgian-style tripel keep rollin' in; filling your mouth with perfect peeling waves of unexpected pleasure. Respectfully aged in seasoned bourbon barrels, this beer offers you an amazing zest, balanced with flavors of warming oak. The result? A complex sipping beer that finishes smooth and sweet, giving you a glide you won't soon forget. Our Head Brewer Says... "Our Tripel Overhead barrel aged pours a gold color and offers likeable malty sweetness coupled with a bourbon forward aroma. It’s a complex beer that transforms as it warms, exposing vanilla and coconut notes in the taste and finishing with a bit of heat. It’s quickly emerging as my preferred Mother Earth product." Food Pairings: Big Intense Dishes, Roast Beef, Lamb or Wild Game grilled or roasted, Rich moderately aged cheeses, plum walnut tart Preferred Glass: Small Tulip or Snifter Availability: Limited Release

Comes out of the bottle a beautiful golden amber, bubbly as champagne, with a very thick and fluffy pale wheat head. Strong aroma has apple, pear and caramel notes with a subtle malty underpinning. Flavor is rather sweet, but not cloying - apple, honey, caramel, an alcohol nip from the barrel aging, earthy and woody hints. Firm, smooth, fizzy texture leaves a fruity and woody finish that has a hint of bourbon. Go overhead over heels for this one!

One of the last bottles before everyone went inside .. . pours a gold, pretty good foam too .. . wow, tons of bourbon, maple, bourbon, vanilla, and even more bourbon .. no real balance here.. . the barrel did its job here that's for sure .. . You can't chase mice with an itchy butt.. .
