This Irish-style red ale is loosely based on a famous Irish Ale called Smithwicks, which is no longer brewed. Since this is our special St. Patrick's Day brew we decided it would be fitting to use Clover honey instead of the Corn Sugar used originally. We took liberties with the style and cranked up the hop aroma with a liberal portion of imported Fuggles. Come help us raise a pint to the good St. Pat in thanks for driving the snakes out of Ireland. Slainte!!
