Shared bottle at RBNAG 2011 in Oslo. Reddish colour. Aroma and flavour of red berries, hints of oak. A decent beer - not your "typical" barleywine, but that is probably still the closest style.

Bottled@GBBF2008 (thanks for the sip to the almighty Cad!). Slightly hazy ambery golden colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is tart fruits, some sour wood, mild earth and some alcohol and mild acidic notes. Flavour is the same in a quite nice balance. Alcohol gives a quite nice sweet burn in the finish.
