Victoria är en imperial stout på mäktiga 11%. Mörkrostade toner från rostat korn och en balanserande ton från karamellmalten gör den oemotståndlig.

Bottled (As Victoria Imperial Stout@10.3% ABV "En vacker stout tillägnad en vacker kronprinsessa"). Quite much pitch black colour, small beige head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, caramel, roasted malts and some mild vanillaish and wooden notes. Flavour is much the same in a lovely balance.

Draught at Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Dark brown, almost black with a small creamy off-white head. Rich rounded aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, burnt sugar, figs, sweet licorice and dark cherries in the aroma. Full-bodied with with rounded notes of roasted malts, burnt sugar, black chocolate, cocoa, figs, raisins and blackberries. Well-hidden alcohol with a a really smooth mouthfeel. Long solid yet rounded aftertaste of roasted malts, caramelized sugar, cookies, prunes and mild vanilla. Powerful yet elegant but feels more like an Impy porter than an IS, IMHO.
