Detta är världens första ekfatslagrade Black Jack, den första i raden av ekfatslagrade öl från Monk’s Café & Brewery. Ölet är en Imperial Prter på 10.1%, som har lagrats 3 månader i whiskyfat #101 från Mackmyra. Fatet har tidigare innehållit Mackmyra Reserve 2003 och har tillhört Jack Pano sedan destilleringen.

Bottled@Belgobaren, Stockholm. Quite much pitch black colour, small beige head. Aroma is liquorice, some wood, strong roasted and peaty notes along with mild vanilla and alcoholic burn. Flavour is mild smoke and peat along with liquorice, alcohol, some wooden and vanillaish notes as well. Pleasantly balanced.
