Sampled on 5/5/2012. This “American Strong Ale” pours a slightly cloudy orange gold color from a 330ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, caramel, hoppy and sweet. A medium bodied “ASA”. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. More malts, more hops, touch of alcohol, not sure what else but definitely more of it. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

perhaps THE most sessionable in the yeast series. fairly aggressive hops like in the rest but well tempered and balanced by the spicy yeast. not incredibly complex, but a nice beer.
