Tasted at the Triple Rock Sour and Barrel Aged Fest on 2/10/2013.This wild ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, oak, grapes and wood. A medium bodied wild ale. The malts are fruity and sweet with some very definite grape character. The hops are herbal and earthy. Somewhat sweet, with a touch of wood and oak, the wine barrel aspect really shows up here, Nicely balanced. Good carbonation. Overall a touch funky, sauterne and sweet. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean an smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Massive creamy cap floating on top of a ruby brown body. Mild sour cherry, hints of vinegar, leathery, and some sweetness in the aroma. Lacing is retardidly sticky. Taste isn't even as close to being as funky as the non-barrel aged. Clean, nothing lingers. Tartness upfront, bitter funk finishes. I think I can imagine red wine. Can't disagree with any other reviewer here there is green apple here. I wonder what kind of beer Walter White would home brew.... I'd like to think it would be funky. Last sip had no flavour just dark funkiness.
