Described as an English-style mild ale, Maris Mild is named after its predominant malt, Maris Otter. This low-alcohol offering had a good balance of malt and hops with no flavour dominating. It was the preferred style of ale in the UK by blue-collar workers up until about the 1950s.

Had @ the Merchant Ale House in St Catherines, Canada - drinking this beer on draft .. . mm, quite nice .. . lots of light pancake, burning pancake, and mild maple .. . clean fulfilling mouth .. . ruff ruff, i'm poochie the rockin dog!! .. . medium lacing.. mild brown on pour .. .
