Gillespie Brown; a malty and sweet brew followed by a toasted chocolate flavor. Its dark brown appearance and deep roasted aroma translates into a smooth warm distinct finish.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

    22oz bottle -

Aroma - roasted malts, roasted almonds and molasses

Appearance - deep chocolate brown body, semi-transparent, 2-finger beige head, big bubbles, light retention/lacing

Flavor - roasted malts right up front, dark chocolate, baker's chocolate bitterness, with a medium sweetness to bind it all together

Overall - this is a BAINO if there ever is one, because it has much more character and complexity than a plain brown ale. Flavorful and it hides the alcohol pretty well. I'd buy again.
