Don’t let the name fool you! This COPPER colored ale is based on a style dating back to 2000 BC in the lowlands of Scotland. It’s named after the Royal Highland Regiment, known as the “Black Watch Men” and is brewed with heather tips, sweet gale, & a hint of peat smoked malt.

Sipping on this interestingly herbal brew was an enjoyable experience. The eclectic mix of ingredients melded well and created a moderately malt forward flavor with floral herbs, earthy peat, nuts, and caramel. Rich copper color, thin lasting off white head and piles of lacing. Medium bodied, sweet and lush.
