Tasted on tap at the 2005 Pizza Port Strong Ale festival. Medium brown color. Small head. Aroma is malty and spicy. Medium bodied ale. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hints of spices. Hints of brown sugar. A little strange, its kind of bland, but it sort of works as a winter warmer. You could drink loads of this stuff in frnt of the fire. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours with a deep reddish-brown body topped by a thick, fizzy head with no lacing. The aroma is sweet and malty with a slight fruitiness. nNot much of an aroma. The flavor is sweet and malty with a touch of fruit and a little roastiness in the finish. This brew seems pretty thin to be called a "Winter Warmer"...very smooth.
