This scottish ale pours with a deep amber/red body topped by a medium thick head with lots of lacing. The aroma is sweet and malty with a nice caramel/toffee note, a touch of fruit and a little hops. The flavor is slightly sweet yet bitter, and malty with a musty grainy note and a woody hop character. Medium to full bodied and slightly dry.
