Unlike anything I have yet to come across, this "Imperial Cream Ale" is exceptional and it quickly became my favorite offering from the Cleveland Winter Warmer Festival. The samples were poured into a wide mouthed glass from 22oz bombers. An invigorating aroma of sweet vanilla and cream filled the air. Notes of freshly buttered bread, and cereal were present as well. A vibrant dark copper body with a sizable white head produced lots of thick lacing. Mouth feel is gritty and sweet. Deceptively drinkable, one must be careful to slow down while enjoying this amazing brew. I was amazed at how comforting this beer is on the senses. Upfront vanilla flavor backed by medium grainy malts. Some molasses and real ice cream flavors show their presence. Off the wall and so tasty, this really is a unique and wonderful beer.
