Hide if you can, you can’t escape the Hangman. He represents our American Barley Wine Ale brewed with over twice the malt, hops and yeast of an average ale. Concentrating these ingredients causes the aroma and flavor to equal more than the sum of its parts. Malt takes on a unique rustic charm while hops add characters of fruits and pine.

Pours clear mahogany with a thick and rather persistent buff head. Aroma has a strong caramel overtone, rather sweet, with hints of malt and hops. Flavor has less caramel sweetness and more hop evergreen, a little more malt, a little bitterness. Texture is quite firm and viscous, and has good fizz; finish has pine and salty hints. Hang around - for a while. Drink it slowly.
