A Portland Classic! This strong ale has a deep mahogany color and is crafted with seven different specialty malts. A touch of smoked malt gives it a complex aroma and incredible flavor. LSD is also generously hopped with six hop varieties to help create an awesome beer.

Moderately dark. Sweet nose of malt, smoke and a bitter flavor to add quite a bit of complexity. Nicely done, on draft as well as the nitro version. One of the better brews...

Never one to pass up LSD, I had to give this brew a try. On draught at 5th Quadrant. Pours a dark copper colour, medium sized off white head. Soft smoke and dark fruit on the nose. Taste is hoppy, oak, plum and ripe apple notes

Interesting sweetness because there is just a touch of smoke, with a very mild sourness, and a wide variety of malt. Very dark brown with a medium size tan head. Has hints of dark fruit and even chocolate. Not a smooth beer, with a good amount of hop, but it's so drinkable. I could buy a case of this! Not really a strong beer like they say. Kind of middle of the road. Anyhow, I really enjoyed this beer, even if it wasn't spectacular in any way.

Dark copper color. Small head. Aroma is caramel with a touch of smoke. A medium bodied strong ale. Malts are roasted, toffee, dark fruit and a touch of wood. Touches of wood and smoke. Kind of a very hoppy Scottish Ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
