Based on abv this is a big beer, but somehow the mouthfeel seemed a bit light. Maybe it was the cardamom, which was nice but on the heavy side. A good blend of spices and hops, very light bourbon barrel, good job for liftbridge.

An intriguing take on a barleywine. Very herbal from the get go, and it does work out fairly well. Nice fragrant aroma and a smooth flavor. Subtle herbs, raisin, earthy hops, toffee, and a hint of bourbon. Medium bodied and slightly warming.
