Sub-par ale reflecting the majority of the lifeless amber ales produced for consumption. Amber color, thin head and splotchy lacing. Faint caramel, toast and nuts with no discernable hop content. Next beer on the list please, I'm done with this...........

...and available at Liberty Tap Room in Mt. Pleasant, SC just across the bridge from Charleston. It happened completely by accident to show on their 2nd anniversary celebration - for $2 pints no less, but the beer was not stellar merely drinkable. Deep red in the glass with a faint head. Huge sweet malt aroma. Sticky sweet to the pallette - and a very sweet flavor that I found overwhelming.
