Clear pale yellow, white lacing foam head. Typical aroma and taste - good beer for when thirsty. Fantastic beer considering the proce paid for this. (Velp 201602)

clear golden colour, little foam, wet grassy nose, sweet and oily, medium-bodied, light bitterness, malty and herbal finish with some apparent residual sugars

Ok, the numbers don't add up or do they? Friends, this is THE best buy in the Black frickin Forest, the studentens friend! At .27 Euro per .5 liter, this is GREAT bier! The taste is not repulsive, and one comes to enjoy it after paying 5.12 Euros for 20 .5 bottles, even less when it is on sale. Hell, it is better then any pils in the USA, and beats the hell outta most of ALL the low price biers in Deutschland as far as my taste buds go. I would not send anyone on a pilgrimage to this brewery, but would suggest to buy and drink Ratskrone for the Euros any time, any place. A real bargin, or have I mentioned that?
