For those of you who are a bit more adventurous try our cask-conditioned cherry Scottish ale. I blended roughly 50 gallons of Scottish ale with five gallons of stout and 20 pounds of pie cherries into an oak cask (previously used for bourbon) two months ago and now were serving it out of a traditional beer engine. Flat, warm, and contaminated = delicious! Trust me, some people would kill for this stuff, at least 200 years ago they would.

This was a cask ale done about a year ago at the brewery. It was aged 3 months in bourbon barrels and poured at room temperature. Smells sour and bourbon. Pours reddish brown with a nice head. Medium body that was flat but still smooth and crisp in nature. Taste malty and sour with a bourbon finish.. Might be my favorite cask they have done!
