Brewed Every Spring for Jackie O’s St. Patrick’s Day party, O’hooley’s Irish Red is a high gravity take on an Irish beer style. The aroma is filled with delicious nutty caramel character. The bitterness is not overwhelming but helps balance out the abundance of caramel malts. The flavor is malt driven with some great spicy hop notes and soft fruitiness from our house yeast. Flaked Oats and White Wheat add a smooth mouth feel and a dense tight head. At 7.5%abv this Irish red will leave you feeling lucky.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

pours a super redish amber color with a nice white head that lasts for a nice amount of time leaving some nice lacing. The aorma is pleasant and hoppy, hint of nuttines. The taste has a great hoppy finish but not overly bitter and finishes with some orange notes. The mouthfeel is was just barly on the medium bodied side with ample carbonation.
