A classic Scotch strong ale, also know as a 90 Schilling Ale, or a Wee Heavy. Deep walnut in color, with mild warmth, balanced sweetness and very little hop aroma. This is a good high gravity ale well suited for sipping.

Pours chocolaty brown with a good buff head. Aroma offers toasted malt, caramel and resiny hop tones with a hint of spices. Flavor yields toasted malt, caramel, spice and hop resin plus a hint of horehound. Texture provides good, firm body and peppy fizz. Charge with the Sarge.
