Consumed while enjoying (as a non-participant) the Iron Hill Twilight Criterium cycling race / party. Pour was full brown color, off-white almost tannish colored head, served on nitro. The aroma was peaty malts and some chocolate. The flavor followed, more than a touch of the peaty smoke that the description reads, but not over the top either. Darned smooth mouthfeel, sweet but appropriately so, balanced by a light roast or hop bitterness too. A style that now bores me, but a good shot at it by IH.
