Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
On draft at the Lancaster location. Pour was full coppery-amber, hazy, nice white colored head on top. The aroma was strong bourbon and vanilla. The flavor followed suit, strong bourbon, vanilla, maybe some oakiness underneath, smoke, cocoa, caramel. Mouthfeel was full, a little sticky, undercarbonated. Overall, a tasteful bourbon brew, but it was hard to pick out much in the base beer: in other words, a bit overdone on the BA. (Although most folks want the overdone-ness in their Bourbon BA brews for some reason, so....)
