A true representation of a classic Irish style! Deep ruby red colour and tan head leads to a distinct malty/roasty nose. Rich caramel and roasted malt flavours fade to a clean dry finish.

The beer pours a translucent cherry red colour with a white film for a head. The aroma is light caramel, toasted nuts, and eathy hops. Not a lot of depth in the aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is similar to the aroma…nutty caramel up front, and a bitter hop finish. More of an amber ale than an Irish red. -

Pours a clean darker brown colour with copper highlights, a beige head, average retention and a little foamy lace. Roasted malt nose with well-blended coffee and molasses. The taste shows a lot of the same found in a stout. Some spiciness appears which is the only difference, which still does not qualify of an Irish red ale. Some light fruitiness lingers which does help the style. Still, a good darker brew.
