"Dragon is the newest release from Indigo Imp Brewery specially brewed to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Dragon, and Indigo Imp’s location in Cleveland’s Asia Town. Dragon is a Black Beer brewed with rice and barley. A unique creation, with a definite malt flavor. A special black malt provides the color and a slight roasted flavor with none of the astringency normally associated with heavily kilned malt. This is accompanied by a Noble hop flavor and a moderate bitterness. The use of rice provides a light body and drier finish. Open fermented for open vat wild yeast brewing.

An interestingly odd ale from the Imp. More akin to a schwarzbier, but with a spicy fruitiness....plus it's fermented with ale yeast so this beer doesn't truly embrace any specific style, rather it tends to pull certain influences from many. Fizzy collapsing and vanishing tan head leaving no lacing behind on top of a cola colored body. Fruity esters such as those found in British Bitters, with a crisp dryness, and an assertive roasted quality. A hint of chocolate and spices.
