Lupulust is not an American IPA with a Belgian yeast. Lupulust is a traditional Belgian-style Tripel with a hop soul. A thick rocky head fills the nose with a candied bouquet of fruit and floral notes. A sip of this golden, full-bodied and effervesent ale leads to a spicy, peppery hop punch while retaining a traditional Tripel character. Attenuation is a brewing term that refers to the amount of residual sugar left in the beer after fermentation. High attenuation means the yeast was left to do its job, consuming sugar and producing CO2 and alcohol. The result is a distinct smooth dryness which will leave you lusting for more. Head Brewer Michael was inspired by the dry, fruity and floral brews available in Europe on one of his many trips to Amsterdam. Imparting his signature hop touch was the next natural step. Lupulust is the fusion of a timeless, classic recipe with a modern hop approach.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6

Sorta cloudy yellow body, nice creamy head that leaves some nice thick lace. Aromas lean toward banana, clove, spice, and a hint of lemon, nice but not strong. Flavors mirror the aroma but are even weaker, with hay, alcohol and some malts being the most prevelant. Overall its a nice easy to drink triple but it dosent quite get there, missed it by that much...
