This sucks dawg................A murky orange color with a white head. All is well looking at it, its when you smell and taste it that the problems arise. The aroma is musty like an old stanky blanket found in an attic that the dog used to sleep on. Also some oranges and sweet potatoes. The flavor is very sour with tons of synthetic lemon juice. It didn’t seem old to me, just poorly crafted. Quite possibly the worst barley wine I’ve ever had.

Deep brown color, medium head. Malty with a strong hop finish. Rich and complex flavor, nutty and chocolaty, yet with a distinct hop spiciness. Full bodied. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Finish is dry and hoppy. Not a lot of alcohol bite, despite an 8.5 % alcohol content.
