Dark brown almost black pour. Beautiful dark brown head dissipates too quickly. leaves no lacing but does oil the glass. Aroma and flavour are similar although the aroma is subdued compared to the full flavour. Strong licorice, dark chocolate, vanilla, dark roasted malt, smoke, alcohol, toffee and caramel. Sweet with some bitterness. Full body, oily smooth mouthfeel with light carbonation. A little expensive but it is quite a treat, as usual from Hoppin Frog.
