Pours clear mahogany with a thin eggshell head. Strong aroma has notes of roast malt and caramel plus a hint of horehound. Full-bodied flavor rolls toasty malt, caramel, clove, and woody notes across the palate; malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness nicely balance each other. Viscous texture has some decent fizz. Roarin’ good.
