Highland’s vintage Scotch-style ale. Named for the "Cauldron of the Gods" from Norse mythology, this deliciously dark, complex beer combines Scotland-grown Golden Promise malts with double roasted crystal malt, crystal rye, and a touch of cherry wood-smoked malt for a deeply rich, bold flavor. This winter sipper is worthy of its mythological name.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Pours transparent sepia with a thick and rather persistent light tan head. Aroma features subtle but tempting roast malt, caramel and woody notes. Much bolder flavor delivers more roast malt with a hint of cherry, as well as caramel and woody tones and a snip of molasses. Firm, viscous mouthfeel has good fizz and leaves a toasted malt and slightly fruity finish. Divine!
