Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruits, some caramel malts, mild nutty and toasted notes as well. Flavour is dark dry fruits, some fruity and floral notes along with caramel malts, some raisins as well as grassy and herbal notes. Toasted finish.

Beer actually served on gravity straight from a tap on the barrel so head was fairly short lived but a creamy colour when I got it. looked close to black smelled like old fashioned candy treacle toffee maybe. The aroma carried through to the tastes barley sugar and treacle to goes down all to easily and only 5 beer miles on it. Drank at the The Talbot in Gretton Northants.
